Shift Supervisor - PT

This role involves supervising store staff, ensuring high levels of customer engagement, and driving sales. Responsibilities

• Assist Store Management with generating sales potential by maintaining a constant presence on the sales floor and setting the pace and energy while upholding brand integrity.
• Hold store keys to open and close the store without management as needed.
• Prioritize customer service and partner with Sales Associates to achieve sales goals and KPIs.
• Manage rest and meal break schedules to ensure all zones are covered.
• Provide timely feedback, coaching, and redirection in customer engagement, selling, and sales floor etiquette.
• Assist with managing company standards for merchandise presentation, signage, and displays.
• Escalate performance concerns to the Store Manager.
• Motivate and inspire associates to build brand loyalty and create a positive store environment for both internal and external customers.
• Assist with store security, including checking bags and monitoring fitting rooms.
• Ensure store staff are treated professionally, courteously, and respectfully.
• Process return/exchange transactions, authorize promotional discounts, and handle employee sales in the absence of a manager.
• Adhere to and ensure compliance with all loss prevention (LP) policies.
• Maintain full understanding and knowledge of inventory management procedures.
• Represent the company in a professional and positive manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to rapidly and constantly lift large and heavy packages/boxes, and perform continuous loading/unloading throughout a scheduled shift.
• Able to reach overhead, bend, kneel, and carry product for customer service, inventory restock, shipment processing, and store merchandising.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs. without restrictions.
• Able to perform regular store maintenance tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, emptying trash, and cleaning.
• Ability to use and climb ladders and/or step stools.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions (e.g., hanging, folding, ringing up customers).
• Ability to use caution when dealing with difficult customers, houseless individuals, and/or transients, and avoid confrontations.
• Must be comfortable working in a moderate to loud noise environment and an adult content retail setting.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of key holder experience in a retail setting preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
• Must commit to two store closings per week, including one on Friday or Saturday.
• Ability to use a retail POS system and inventory scanner.
• Must be able to make change using American monetary units.
• Ability to carry out detailed tasks and projects with minimal direction or supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working relationships.
• Completion of the Shift Supervisor three-month training program.
