Shift Supervisor - Production - Night Shift

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations on the production floor
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Monitor production processes and address any issues that arise
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance performance
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflow and efficiency
• Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report on performance
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity
• Maintain production machines and work with maintenance on upkeep of equipment
• Perform any other duties assigned by the company

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Technical degree or certification (preferred)
• Experience as a production shift/team lead (required)
• Experience with 5s (preferred)
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (2+ years, required)
• Experience as a machine mechanic (required)
• Some electrical experience (preferred)
• Overhead crane experience (required)
• Quality control experience (preferred)
• Forklift experience (required)

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints (preferred)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if necessary

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
• Position requires standing, walking, utilizing stairs or ladders, driving automatic forklift, climbing, squatting, stooping, twisting, bending, grabbing, and grasping
• Must be able to work in a non-controlled environment
