Shift Supervisor (Nights)

Responsibilities
- Affirm safety initiatives and resolve risks through accident investigations.
- Follow and maintain the Product Control Plan, ensuring part quality meets specifications.
- Maintain process control by verifying all inputs and ensuring they operate within parameters.
- Respond accurately, completely, and promptly to corrective action requests.
- Ensure all Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) identified during 2-hour checks are reworked during the shift.
- Monitor and manage production systems (Factbird and JDE) to maintain production floor operations.
- Complete required production reports and be accountable for Production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Reduce material waste (scrap) on the shift.
- Distribute scheduled activities to technicians for color changes, PIN changes, and tool changes.
- Manage production employees to achieve operational and business goals.
- Delegate responsibilities to direct and indirect reports and organize shift handoff meetings.
- Identify training needs and coordinate with Human Resources and Manufacturing Trainer for employee training.
- Develop and coach employees; identify and mentor backups.
- Control payroll hours and maintain labor costs within budget.
- Schedule direct reports based on labor requirements and document and administer all employee disciplinary actions.
- Make hiring and termination decisions in conjunction with Human Resources.
- Lead and maintain housekeeping in accordance with 5S principles.
- Administer and perform annual employee reviews.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure efficiency and participate in scheduled Shift Leader Meetings.
- Execute daily shift reports and shift handoffs, addressing safety, quality, productivity, housekeeping, and staffing issues.
- Support and maintain all company policies, including ISO/BRC Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures.
- Be proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite software, understanding production monitoring systems, problem-solving methodologies, administrative managerial skills, and Lean Manufacturing practices.
- Have basic knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Operate in a manufacturing environment, standing/walking 80% of the time.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Must be able to stand/walk 80% of the time.

Pay
The pay range for this role starts at $75,000 annually; however, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, the range may be between $75,000 and $90,000.
Schedule
5:00 pm to 5:15 am on a 2 2 3 schedule.
