What You'll Do
- Lead and develop the team
- Supervise and support production employees during assigned shifts
- Coach, mentor, and hold team members accountable for performance
- Build a strong team culture focused on safety, quality, and productivity
- Drive production performance
- Monitor production metrics and maintain performance standards
- Achieve operational efficiency targets
- Ensure production schedules and deadlines are met
- Quickly resolve production issues to minimize downtime
- Maintain safety & quality standards
- Enforce Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) policies
- Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Support operations when needed
- Step in to assist with production tasks such as packing, stacking, or operating equipment
- Cook up resources to keep production running smoothly
What We're Looking For
- A strong floor leader, not just a supervisor
- Proven experience in manufacturing or production environments
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus
- A “roll-up-your-sleeves” leadership style
Education
- Associate degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- OR equivalent production leadership experience
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to climb, kneel, crawl, and perform repetitive production tasks
