SHIFT SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)

About the role

Morrison Healthcare is hiring a full-time SHIFT SUPERVISOR at Mercy Joplin located at 100 Mercy Way, Joplin, MO 64804. Online applications are accepted only. The schedule is full-time, 5:45 AM to 2:15 PM or 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, with days varying. Previous food service and supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift
• Oversight of assigned job expectations while maintaining policies and procedures
• Provide training and create work schedules
• Evaluate the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees as needed
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure units meet quality, productivity, and safety standards
• Act as the primary contact for employees regarding complaints or requests for time off
• May serve as a mentor, develop employees, and encourage goal setting and advancement within the organization
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Previous food service and supervisory experience is preferred.
