About the Role

Join a groundbreaking team at the forefront of Peer-Powered Support, empowering individuals on their journey through mental health and substance use challenges. As a Shift Supervisor, you will monitor the administrative needs of an assigned shift, including utilization and capacity management, supplies, meals, and maintenance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership:
    • Provides leadership, coaching, and supervision for all staff on assigned shift.
    • Guides the implementation of the discharge planning process.
  • Guest Care & Advocacy:
    • Completes assessments for individuals brought to the facility, developing treatment plans and recovery solutions in partnership with the individual.
    • Partners with the individual to obtain collateral information from their support team, such as family members, friends, case managers, and other area programs.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
    • Determines a provisional diagnosis, obtains documentation of medical necessity, and submits authorizations for service in a timely fashion.
    • Completes clinical documentation as required.
    • Ensures Incident Reports are initiated, completed, reviewed, and submitted according to policy.
    • Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws, as well as Recovery Innovations policies, as they change or are modified.
    • Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
  • Additional Duties:
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education/Licenses:
    • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited college or university.
    • Associate Licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field required. Independent Licensure preferred.
    • State designation as required per state regulations.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory/management experience required.
  • Skills:
    • Ability to complete comprehensive psychosocial assessments and treatment plans.
    • Basic computer skills.
    • Effective communication skills.
    • Excellent documentation skills.
    • Must be able to pass de-escalation training, as defined by state requirements.
  • Miscellaneous Requirements:
    • Must be at least 18 years old unless residing in a state where funder or government regulations set a different minimum age requirement.
    • Must be able to pass a seven-year background check.
    • Must be able to pass substance abuse testing and/or tuberculosis testing (if applicable).
    • Must be able to pass education verification check.
    • Must be able to obtain designated fingerprinting clearance in applicable states.
    • Must be able to pass a three-year motor vehicle report and meet minimum eligibility requirements of the insurance carrier (if driving is required for this position).
    • Must successfully complete and meet all requirements of the comprehensive credentialing process.
    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism.
    • A Direct Service Competency Checklist must be completed as part of the new hire onboarding process.
  • Driving Requirements:
    • If driving is required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in Recovery Innovations’ driving policy.
    • If not qualified to drive per driving policy, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed.

State-Specific Requirements

  • Arizona:
    • Licensure: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Registered Nurse (RN).
    • Must be 21 years or older.
  • California – Art Works:
    • Education: Associate Degree required, Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred.
    • Certification: Peer Certification if Master’s Degree requirement is not met.
    • 3+ years of experience.
  • Delaware:
    • Licensure: Licensed Associate Counselor of Mental Health (LACMH), Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT), Licensed Associate Chemical Dependency Professional (LACDP), or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
    • Master’s Level Education is required, with licensure preferred.
  • Louisiana:
    • Licensure: Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Provisional Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (PLMFT), or Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC).
    • Must be 24 years or older.
  • Maryland:
    • Licensure: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C).
  • North Carolina:
    • Licensure: Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate (LMFTA), Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA), or Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate (LCASA).
  • Ohio:
    • Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited college or university.
    • Licensure: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate (LMFTA), or Licensed Social Worker (LSW).
  • Washington:
    • Licensure: Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate (LMFTA), Licensed Advanced Social Worker Associate (LASWA), or Licensed Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC).

Physical Demands

  • May include work close to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling, finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected vision; color vision; use of auditory senses.
  • May be required to lift up to twenty (20) pounds.

Work Environment

  • May work in an office environment or behavioral health facility.
  • May have contact with individuals who are agitated and/or confused.
  • Work may include travel throughout the geographic region.

Pay

$39.00 - $41.00/hour

Schedule

Rotating Schedule - 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
