Shift Supervisor
About the role
The Shift Supervisor is responsible for monitoring the administrative needs of an assigned shift including utilization and capacity management, supplies, meals and maintenance requirements. They provide leadership, coaching and supervision for all staff on assigned shifts, guide the implementation of the discharge planning process, complete assessments for individuals brought to the facility, develop treatment plans and recovery solutions in partnership with the individual, obtain collateral information from the individual's support team, determine a provisional diagnosis, obtain documentation of medical necessity and submit authorizations for service in a timely fashion, complete clinical documentation as required, ensure incident reports are initiated, completed, reviewed and submitted according to policy, keep abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified, understand and adhere to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies, and perform other related duties.
Responsibilities
- Provides leadership, coaching and supervision for all staff on assigned staff.
- Guides the implementation of the discharge planning process.
- Completes assessments for individuals brought to the facility, developing treatment plans and recovery solutions in partnership with the individual.
- Pairs with the individual to obtain collateral information from the individual’s support team such as family members, friends, case managers and other area programs.
- Determines a provisional diagnosis, obtains documentation of medical necessity and submits authorizations for service in a timely fashion.
- Completes clinical documentation as required.
- Ensures Incident Reports are initiated, completed, reviewed and submitted according to policy.
- Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
- Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
- Performs other related duties.
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory/management experience required.
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Associate Licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field required.
- Independent Licensure in good standing in an applicable Behavioral Health field preferred.
- State designation as required per state regulations.

Pay
$39 - $41 per hour
Schedule
As Needed - 7:00PM - 7:30AM
