Shift Supervisor
The Idaho Youth Ranch is one of the oldest non-profit agencies in the state of Idaho. Our mission: We unite for Idaho’s youth by providing accessible programs and services that nurture hope, healing, and resilience. Be a part of setting a new standard for residential care for generations to come at our new Residential Center for Healing and Resilience, a 64-bed psychiatric residential treatment facility (PRTF) for youth, currently under construction at our beautiful 258-acre Hands of Promise Campus in Idaho’s Treasure Valley.
About the role
As a Shift Supervisor for the Residential Center for Healing and Resilience, you will lead and supervise direct care staff, ensuring outstanding care for youth and completion of all required tasks. You will assist with on-boarding and training Youth Care Providers and carry out duties in accordance with the program’s standards and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Leads up to 20 staff and/or interns to provide outstanding care to youth and complete all required tasks
- Assists with on-boarding and training Youth Care Providers
- Carries out duties and tasks in accordance with the program’s standards and procedures and ensures that other direct care staff do the same
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must have a valid Idaho driver’s license or obtain one within 15 days of hire
- Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent and three years full-time experience in a children's residential facility or an Associate's degree and two years full-time experience in a children's residential care facility or a Bachelor's degree and one year full-time experience in a children's residential care facility

Schedule
Alternating schedule: 3x12s one week and 4x12s the next, Thursday through Saturday, alternating Wednesdays. Shift hours: 9:00 pm to 9:00 am.
This position is located in Idaho and candidates must be within a reasonable distance to our location.
