Job Summary
Responsible for all aspects of Management for Residential Aide staff within the Program. Ensures quality services are provided effectively and in accordance with guidelines established by CHI, OTDA, and other funding sources as appropriate.
Pay
$24.04 an hour- approx. $50,040 annually. FLSA: Non-exempt. Eligible for overtime.
Schedule
Thursday - Monday 4pm-12am (Off Tuesday & Wednesdays)
Qualifications
- Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s from an accredited university or related field of study, preferred. 3+ years of verified experience working in homeless services can override the education requirement.
- All applicants must have 2+ years’ experience providing management services in social services or in other related fields.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in English required. Multi-lingual and Spanish proficiency preferred.
- First Aid/CPR Certification and Food Handler’s Certificate (have upon hire or within 60 days of hire)
- F-80 Fire Safety Coordinator certification, required (or ability to obtain F80 certification within 30 days of hire)
- Computer Skills: Basic competency in MS Windows, MS Office, and on the Internet.
- Physical Performance: Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (up to 50lbs), tour property, walk distances, and climb stairs (up to 3-4 flights).
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to prioritize, make appropriate decisions and judgment calls.
- Other Skills: Ability to work independently or as part of a team, be highly organized, assume responsibility, work well under pressure, meet deadlines, multitask, be flexible, and maintain a high level of attention to details. Must be even-tempered, have good negotiation skills, and the ability to meet unexpected deadlines.
