Shift Supervisor

About the role

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple cafes, ensuring smooth service and compliance with all policies and procedures. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to manage a team effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of multiple cafes, including managing staff schedules and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and food quality.
• Manage a team of baristas and other cafe staff, providing guidance and feedback to improve performance.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Perform cash handling duties, including reconciling accounts and reporting discrepancies.
• Assist in inventory management and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a fast-paced retail environment.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of employees.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for those working in locations requiring deliveries).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
