Responsibilities
- Perform rounds & field quality testing to check process equipment, product quality, and monitor process conditions and control systems.
- Execute and contribute to the unit work activity task list.
- Resolve process deviation and upset conditions using basic troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Participate in root cause investigations as requested.
- Train new unit operating personnel and share operating knowledge for their development.
- Maintain operations performance within assigned responsibility to align with plant and business goals.
- Develop and implement improvements in unit operating discipline and performance based on personal knowledge and skills.
- Monitor key unit metrics to ensure plant performance remains on track to achieve unit and business goals.
- Perform autonomous maintenance tasks to keep equipment in good operating condition and prevent future failures.
- Accurately and completely record asset utilization losses.
- Utilize appropriate operating discipline and safe work practices required when performing operator care for the plant activities.
- Follow the Procedure Use Policy of the unit and/or site.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills to work with varying departments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate of Process Technology.
- SAP and Delta-V process knowledge.
- Leadership and technical skills.
- Continuous process experience.
