Shift Manager - Wafer Fab

About the Role
This position is responsible for production and operational activities within the semiconductor wafer fabrication facility (Fab) on a compressed work week.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Fab performance metrics, including Safety, Revenue, Throughput, Cycle time, Yield, and on-time delivery for the shift team.
- Collaborate closely with Fab engineering, Equipment, Quality, and Facility teams.
- Manage Work-in-Progress (WIP) and ensure on-time delivery to commitments.
- Handle staffing: hiring, training, retention, dismissal, and employee relations.
- Enforce company policies and procedures.
- Foster and maintain a high-performance culture.
- Drive continuous improvement in operational procedures, yield, and business systems.
- Lead productivity improvement and cost-reduction projects across shifts.
- Drive standardization of activities, systems, and protocols across shifts.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering and/or manufacturing management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Due to ITAR regulations, only candidates who are U.S. Persons (U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents, or individuals granted asylum or refugee status) will be considered.
