Shift Manager - Wafer Fab

About the Role

This position is responsible for production and operational activities within the semiconductor wafer fabrication facility (Fab) on a compressed work week.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Fab performance metrics, including Safety, Revenue, Throughput, Cycle time, Yield, and on-time delivery for the shift team.
• Collaborate closely with Fab engineering, Equipment, Quality, and Facility teams.
• Manage Work-in-Progress (WIP) and ensure on-time delivery to commitments.
• Handle staffing: hiring, training, retention, dismissal, and employee relations.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.
• Foster and maintain a high-performance culture.
• Drive continuous improvement in operational procedures, yield, and business systems.
• Lead productivity improvement and cost-reduction projects across shifts.
• Drive standardization of activities, systems, and protocols across shifts.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of engineering and/or manufacturing management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Due to ITAR regulations, only candidates who are U.S. Persons (U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents, or individuals granted asylum or refugee status) will be considered.
