About the role
As a Shift Manager, you will lead a team of passionate and knowledgeable Customer Experience Associates who strive to exceed customer expectations by focusing on extraordinary customer experiences. You are responsible for understanding sales goals, planning and executing daily/weekly workloads to deliver on store sales goals as well as customer engagement.
Responsibilities

- Utilize business knowledge to understand, troubleshoot and follow-up on opportunity areas
- Ensure customers have an extraordinary experience while shopping
- Greet every customer with eye contact and smile in your authentic way
- Assist in planning, managing and directing retail store operations
- Assist in establishing financial goals to maximize sales, profit, SSR, productivity, turns and inventory
- Evaluate and enhance customer service and customer satisfaction
- Supervise, train, develop and schedule associates for current positions and future growth
- Maintain compliance, as applicable, in loss prevention, accounting, money transfers, internal controls, environmental issues and EPA/environmental agencies/organizations policies, procedures, rules and regulations
- Create schedules that align with customer and business needs and lead a culture of accountability through clear expectations and performance management on critical service and engagement behaviors
- Quickly respond to and deescalate negative customer experiences and ensure that your team understands and is empowered to make things right for the best customers in the world
- Perform other duties as assigned

- One year of retail experience in retail store operations within the last two years is required
- Previous retail supervisory experience preferred
- Fuel Management Compliance within 3 months of assuming position
Schedule
Shift availability: Mon - Fri 0630-2130, Sat-Sun 0800-2130. Extended duty hours / varying work schedules, shift work, 24/7 365 days/year.
Pay
Salary minimum $20.60, salary maximum $34.46. Shift differential/holiday pay available.
