About the role

The role involves leading shifts every week to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers oversee the team and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Planning for each shift
• Making sure the team meets McDonald’s standards
• Communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift
• Meeting targets during their shifts
• Helping assigned Departments meet their goals
• Ensuring food safety
• Maintaining internal communication
• Managing inventory
• Performing daily maintenance and cleanliness
• Managing crew
• Producing quality food
• Providing exceptional customer service
• Maintaining safety and security
• Scheduling
• Training

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
• A positive attitude and a flexible schedule
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned McDonald’s restaurants

Qualifications

Positive team player with a passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.

Skills

Leadership, communication, time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Pay

Up to $17 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
