About the role

The Shift Manager assists the management team by ensuring guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performance on each and every shift. They are the "Every Shift" Leader! This position reports to the Assistant Manager or General Manager and supervises the restaurant employees.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the restaurant to ensure guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
• Supervise restaurant employees, providing guidance and feedback to enhance their performance.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and organization within the restaurant.
• Oversee the preparation and serving of food and beverages to guests.
• Conduct daily operations, including opening and closing the restaurant, managing staff schedules, and preparing for special events or promotions.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Motivated and service-oriented personality.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
