About the role

The Shift Manager assists the management team by ensuring guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performance on each and every shift. They are the "Every Shift" Leader! This position reports to the Assistant Manager or General Manager and supervises the restaurant employees.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction and overall restaurant performance on each shift
• Supervise restaurant employees
• Assist in managing the restaurant to meet operational goals
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages
• Manage inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation
• Handle cash transactions and manage the cash drawer
• Conduct daily operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Communicate effectively with staff and guests to resolve issues and improve service
• Adhere to health and safety regulations

Requirements

• Motivated, service-oriented employee with a high school education or GED
• Valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
