Shift Manager

About the role

Shift managers play a vital role in our success as a business by assigning, directing, and following up on activities of Crew team members while also providing high quality service and food to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and coaching to crew team members, including assignment delegation, instruction, and follow-through.
• Ensure proper training for crew team members.
• Maintain safe working conditions by ensuring that all safety guidelines are followed.
• Assist in learning to be a successful part of the team through on‑the‑job training and advancement opportunities.
• Monitor tasks performed by crew team members to ensure product Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC).
• Execute established cost control systems including proper food prep amounts, procedure execution, and bin chart usage to minimize food cost.
• May be responsible for opening or closing procedures.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to come to work regularly and promptly.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time without a break.
• Ability to comply with all food safety regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet required service time standards.
• Ability to take direction and work well with others.
• Ability to react to change and maintain a positive attitude.
• Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification.
• 1 or more years of restaurant or supervisory experience.
• Ability to legally work in the US.
