Shift Manager

About the role

The role involves leading shifts every week to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers are responsible for various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness, managing inventory, and maintaining the cleanliness of the premises.

Responsibilities

• Planning for each shift
• Making sure the team meets McDonald’s standards
• Communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift
• Ensuring the team is meeting targets and Department goals
• Managing food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance, and cleanliness
• Training new employees
• Exceptional customer service
• Safety and security
• Scheduling

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule and the willingness to have fun
• Must be 18 years or older

Qualifications

Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment. Positive team players with a flexible schedule who enjoy working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment are encouraged to apply.

Skills

Leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are essential. Knowledge of food safety protocols and strong communication skills are also required.

Pay

Starting pay for this position is $13.00/hr.

Shifts are typically scheduled on a weekly basis, with flexibility in terms of start times and duration.
