Shift Manager
About the role
The role involves leading shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers are responsible for various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, enforcing McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.
Responsibilities
- Planning and monitoring performance during the shift
- Maintaining quality, service, and cleanliness standards
- Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift
- Meeting targets and assisting departments in achieving their goals
- Managing inventory, daily maintenance, and crew quality
- Producing exceptional customer service
- Ensuring safety and security
- Scheduling staff
- Providing training
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
- Flexible schedule and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment
- Must be 18 years or older to be considered for this role
Qualifications
While previous leadership experience is preferred, applicants with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn are encouraged to apply. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial.
Skills
Effective communication, problem-solving, and time management skills are essential. Knowledge of McDonald’s standards and procedures is beneficial.
