Shift Manager

About the role

The role involves leading shifts in a McDonald’s restaurant, ensuring high-quality service, cleanliness, and adherence to McDonald’s standards. Shift Managers are responsible for various tasks such as planning shifts, monitoring performance, managing inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and training staff.

Responsibilities

• Planning and executing shifts to ensure efficient customer service
• Maintaining quality, service, and cleanliness standards
• Monitoring and addressing safety and security concerns
• Communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift
• Meeting and exceeding targets set for the shift
• Supporting Department goals by assisting in meeting targets
• Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
• Managing internal communication and external interactions
• Handling inventory management and daily maintenance
• Training new and existing staff members

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
• Flexible schedule and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment
• Must be 18 years or older to apply

Qualifications

While not mandatory, previous leadership experience is preferred. Applicants should demonstrate a strong ability to lead and motivate teams, manage multiple tasks, and maintain high standards of service and cleanliness.
