Shift Manager

About the role

The role involves leading shifts every week to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers oversee various tasks including planning for shifts, monitoring performance, ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness, managing inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and training crew members.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts to deliver a high-quality customer experience
• Plan and monitor shifts to ensure team meets McDonald’s standards
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift
• Manage inventory and daily maintenance
• Ensure food safety and exceptional customer service
• Monitor and maintain safety and security
• Train crew members on food production and service
• Meet and exceed shift targets
• Support departments in achieving their goals

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to the demanding nature of the job
• Age 18 or older

Schedule

Shifts are typically 8-hour shifts, Monday through Saturday, with varying start times depending on the restaurant's needs.

Pay

Starting rates range from $12 to $15 per hour, with potential for bonuses and additional benefits.
