About the role
The role involves leading shifts every week to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers oversee various tasks including planning for shifts, monitoring performance, ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness, managing inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and training crew members.
Responsibilities
- Lead shifts to deliver a high-quality customer experience
- Plan and monitor shifts to ensure team meets McDonald’s standards
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift
- Manage inventory and daily maintenance
- Ensure food safety and exceptional customer service
- Monitor and maintain safety and security
- Train crew members on food production and service
- Meet and exceed shift targets
- Support departments in achieving their goals
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to the demanding nature of the job
- Age 18 or older
