Shift Manager

About the role

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience.
• Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
• Plan for each shift, monitor performance, take corrective actions, ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards, manage safety and security, and communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift.
• Meet targets during shifts and assist in achieving departmental goals.
• Manage food safety, internal communication, inventory, daily maintenance and cleanliness, crew management, quality food production, exceptional customer service, safety and security, and scheduling.
• Perform additional tasks such as training new employees and handling emergencies.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to the demands of the job.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Pay & Schedule

Starting pay range: $17.00 - $18.99 per hour.

Shifts are typically scheduled based on the needs of the restaurant and the individual’s availability.
