About the role
The role involves leading shifts in a McDonald’s restaurant operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. As a Shift Manager, responsibilities include ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness, managing inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and training staff.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor shifts to ensure great Quality, Service and Cleanliness
- Take action to ensure team meets McDonald’s standards
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift
- Meet and help meet departmental targets
- Manage food safety, internal communication, inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness
- Ensure exceptional customer service and safety/security
- Schedule and manage staff
- Train staff
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule and willingness to have fun
- Must be 18 years or older
Qualifications
Competitive pay starting at $16+ with 15-25 days of paid vacation. Includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, short- and long-term disability, life, and accident insurance.
