About the role
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers handle various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor shifts to ensure efficient operation.
- Maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards and policies.
- Monitor safety and security measures.
- Communicate effectively with the next Shift Manager to prepare for the following shift.
- Meet and exceed targets set for the shift.
- Support and guide the crew in achieving departmental goals.
- Manage inventory and daily maintenance.
- Ensure proper food safety protocols are followed.
- Train new employees and assist in developing their skills.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
- A positive attitude and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.
- A flexible schedule and the ability to adapt to changing demands.
- Ability to communicate effectively and manage a team.
- Must be 18 years or older.
