Shift Manager

About the role

The role involves leading shifts in a McDonald’s restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. As a Shift Manager, you will ensure great Quality, Service, and Cleanliness to customers, manage inventory, maintain cleanliness, and train the team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor each shift to ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift
• Meet targets during your shift and help your assigned Departments meet their goals
• Perform tasks such as food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance and cleanliness, managing crew, quality food production, exceptional customer service, safety, and security

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule and passion for the fast-paced McDonald’s environment
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in a corporate-owned restaurant
