Shift Manager

About the role

The role involves leading shifts every week to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers oversee the team and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Planning for each shift
• Making sure the team meets McDonald’s standards
• Communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift
• Meeting targets during their shifts
• Helping assigned Departments meet their goals
• Ensuring food safety
• Managing inventory
• Overseeing daily maintenance and cleanliness
• Controlling quality food production
• Providing exceptional customer service
• Ensuring safety and security
• Scheduling staff
• Training new employees

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule and willingness to have fun
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in a corporate-owned McDonald’s restaurant

Qualifications

Competitive starting pay of $13.00/hr, along with a range of benefits including 15-25 days paid vacation, 10 paid holidays, and 8-week sabbaticals every 10 years.
