Shift Manager
About the role
The role involves leading shifts every week to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers are responsible for a variety of tasks including planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor shifts to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards and safety protocols.
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
- Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
- Monitor and manage crew performance.
- Meet and exceed targets set for the shift.
- Support departments in meeting their goals.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
- A positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility with a willingness to work various shifts and weekends.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Qualifications
