Shift Manager

About the role

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts every week to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience.
• Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Monitor performance, take corrective actions, and ensure compliance with McDonald's standards.
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift.
• Meet targets during shifts and assist in achieving departmental goals.
• Ensure food safety, manage inventory, conduct daily maintenance and cleanliness, and train new employees.
• Handle internal communication and manage staff schedules.

Requirements

• Leadership skills to guide and motivate team members.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of McDonald's operational standards and procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership or managerial role preferred.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Pay

Starting pay range: $15.50 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Shifts vary based on the needs of the restaurant, typically 4-6 hours per shift, Monday through Saturday.
