About the role
The job involves leading shifts in a McDonald’s restaurant, ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness. It requires managing a team, planning shifts, monitoring performance, and handling various tasks such as inventory management, food safety, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Lead shifts to ensure great Quality, Service and Cleanliness to customers
- Plan for each shift and monitor performance during the shift
- Take action to ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards
- Maintain safety, security, and profitability
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to help prepare them for their shift
- Meet targets during shifts and help departments meet their goals
- Manage crew, inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness
- Ensure exceptional customer service
- Manage food safety and handle scheduling
- Train new employees
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment is preferred
- Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in a corporate-owned McDonald’s restaurant
Qualifications
Positive team player with a flexible schedule and passion for the fast-paced environment. Must be able to communicate effectively and manage a team efficiently.
Skills
Leadership, communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and time management skills are essential.
