Shift Manager
About the role
The role involves leading shifts in a McDonald’s restaurant operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. As a Shift Manager, you will ensure great Quality, Service and Cleanliness to customers, manage inventory, maintain cleanliness, train staff, and adhere to food safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor each shift to ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards.
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
- Meet targets during your shift and assist in meeting department goals.
- Ensure food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
- Manage crew and handle exceptional customer service and safety concerns.
- Schedule staff and communicate effectively with them.
- Train new and existing staff members.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
- A positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule and a passion for working in the McDonald’s environment.
- Must be 18 years or older to apply.
