Shift Manager

About the role

The role involves leading shifts in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. As a Shift Manager, responsibilities include planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness, managing inventory, maintaining safety and security, and scheduling staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor each shift to ensure great Quality, Service and Cleanliness to customers.
• Ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards during the shift.
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to help prepare them for their shift.
• Meet targets during their shifts and help assigned Departments meet their goals.
• Manage food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance and cleanliness, crew management, quality food production, exceptional customer service, safety and security, and scheduling.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• A positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• A flexible schedule and the passion to work in the McDonald’s environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in a corporate-owned restaurant.
