SHIFT MANAGER
About the role
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They are responsible for planning each shift, monitoring performance, enforcing McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.
Responsibilities
- Planning and monitoring shifts to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness
- Maintaining inventory levels and performing daily maintenance and cleaning
- Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift
- Helping departments meet their goals and targets
- Managing crew and addressing customer complaints
- Performing exceptional customer service
- Ensuring safety and security
- Scheduling staff
- Providing training to new employees
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility with a willingness to adapt to a demanding schedule
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Age 18 or older
Qualifications
