About the role
The role involves leading shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers oversee the team and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Planning for each shift
- Making sure the team meets McDonald’s standards
- Communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for the next shift
- Meeting targets during their shifts
- Helping assigned Departments meet their goals
- Ensuring food safety
- Managing inventory
- Maintaining daily maintenance and cleanliness
- Managing crew
- Producing quality food
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Ensuring safety and security

Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
- A positive attitude and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible schedules
- Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned McDonald’s restaurants
