About the Role
Shift Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers during shifts to maintain great Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers may also help meet targets and assist assigned departments in achieving their goals.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor performance during shifts
- Take action to ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards
- Monitor safety, security, and profitability
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift
- Food safety and internal communication
- Inventory management
- Daily maintenance and cleanliness
- Managing crew and ensuring quality food production
- Exceptional customer service
- Scheduling and training
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
- Positive team player with a flexible schedule
- Passion for working in a fast-paced McDonald’s environment
- Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned and operated restaurants
