Shift Manager

About the role

Managers lead shifts every week, making sure customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to ensure great Quality, Service and Cleanliness to customers. This role is vital to the operations within the restaurant because you'll:

• Take action first: Lead important internal functions including Employee Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management
• Be results oriented: Effectively delegate tasks to team members and report back results
• Understand that teamwork is key: Partner with restaurant team to ensure safe and efficient operations of the restaurant

Responsibilities

• Planning for each shift
• Monitoring performance during the shift
• Taking action to ensure the team is meeting McDonald's standards
• Monitoring safety, security, and profitability
• Communicating with the next Shift Manager to help prepare him/her to run a great shift
• Meeting targets during shifts
• Helping assigned Departments meet their goals

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate owned and operated restaurants
• Flexible schedule

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment
• Strong customer service and support focus
• Ability to communicate effectively and anticipate customer needs
• Ability to provide solutions and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to excellence and safety in the workplace

Pay

• Competitive pay starting at $17.00/hour up to $20.00/hour based on experience
