Shift Manager
About the role
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience at every visit. Shift Managers provide leadership to the crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high levels of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Plan for each shift, monitor performance, and take action to ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards.
- Maintain safety, security, and profitability during the shift.
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to help prepare them for their shift.
- Meet targets during their shifts and assist in meeting Department goals.
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety regulations.
- Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
- Lead quality food production and exceptional customer service.
- Handle scheduling and training responsibilities.
Requirements
A minimum of 18 years of age is required to be a manager in a corporate-owned McDonald’s restaurant. Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting, is preferred.
Qualifications
Positive team player with a flexible schedule and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to communicate effectively and manage a team.
Skills
Strong leadership skills, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, excellent communication, and attention to detail.

Pay
