Shift Manager
About the role
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience on every visit. They provide leadership to the crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Plan for each shift and monitor performance during the shift to ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards.
- Ensure safety, security, and profitability by taking appropriate actions.
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
- Meet targets during their shifts and assist in helping departments meet their goals.
- Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and food production quality.
- Handle food safety and manage crew effectively.
Requirements
- Two years of relevant experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
- Positive team player with a flexible schedule and enthusiasm for the fast-paced environment.
- Must be 18 years or older to apply for management positions.
Qualifications
Previous leadership experience is preferred, but not required. Applicants should demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Skills
Effective communication, time management, adaptability, and a passion for serving customers are essential skills for this role.
