SHIFT MANAGER
About the role
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Plan for each shift
- Maintain performance during the shift
- Take action to ensure team meets McDonald’s standards
- Monitor safety, security, and profitability
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift
- Meet targets during their shifts
- Help assigned Departments meet their goals
- Manage inventory, food safety, daily maintenance, and cleanliness
- Ensure exceptional customer service
- Manage crew
- Ensure quality food production
- Manage scheduling
- Train new employees
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility with a schedule
- Passion for working in the McDonald’s environment
- Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned and operated restaurants
