Shift Manager

About the role

The job involves leading shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers oversee the team and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Planning for each shift
• Making sure the team meets McDonald’s standards
• Communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift
• Meeting targets during their shifts
• Helping their assigned Departments meet their goals
• Performing tasks such as food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance and cleanliness, managing crew, quality food production, exceptional customer service, safety and security, and scheduling

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
• A positive attitude and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage a team and handle various responsibilities
• Must be 18 years or older
