Shift Manager

About the role

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience.
• Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Plan for each shift, monitor performance, take corrective actions, ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards, manage safety and security, and communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift.
• Meet targets during shifts and assist in meeting departmental goals.
• Ensure food safety, handle internal communication, manage inventory, conduct daily maintenance and cleanliness, manage crew, produce quality food, provide exceptional customer service, and manage safety and security.
• Manage scheduling, train new employees, and handle other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to the demands of the job.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others.
• Must be 18 years or older.
