Shift Manager
About the role
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience on every visit. They provide leadership to the team and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Plan for each shift
- Maintain performance during the shift
- Take actions to ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards
- Monitor safety, security, and profitability
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for the following shift
- Meet targets during their shifts
- Help assigned Departments meet their goals
- Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness
- Ensure exceptional customer service
- Manage crew and handle food safety
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule and willingness to have fun
- Must be 18 years or older
Qualifications
Applicants must be 18 years or older and understand they are applying to work at a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA.
Skills
Leadership, communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and attention to detail are key skills for this role.
