About the role
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers handle various tasks such as shift planning, performance monitoring, safety and security oversight, and communication between shifts.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor shifts to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and quality standards across the restaurant.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with the next shift manager to prepare for their responsibilities.
- Manage inventory levels and daily maintenance.
- Train new employees and enhance existing skills.
- Meet and exceed departmental and individual performance targets.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
- A positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule and a passion for working in the McDonald’s environment.
- Must be 18 years or older to qualify as a manager.
