Shift Manager
About the role
The role involves leading shifts every week to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers oversee the team and other managers during a shift, ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness. They manage inventory, maintain cleanliness, train staff, and handle various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor shifts to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
- Communicate effectively with the next Shift Manager to prepare for the following shift
- Meet and exceed targets set for the shift
- Support Department goals by assisting in meeting targets
- Manage food safety, internal communication, inventory, daily maintenance, and crew scheduling
- Train new and existing staff members
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to the demands of the job
- Must be 18 years or older
Qualifications
While not specified, candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
