Shift Manager
About the role
Shift Managers lead weekly shifts, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience at every visit. They oversee the performance of the team and other managers during the shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
Responsibilities
Plan and monitor shifts to ensure team meets McDonald’s standards.
Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift.
Meet and exceed targets set for the shift.
Help departments meet their goals.
Manage inventory, food safety, and daily maintenance.
Train new employees and assist in quality food production.
Ensure exceptional customer service and safety.
Schedule and manage the team effectively.
Requirements
Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
Positive attitude and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible schedule and ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be 18 years or older.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous management experience preferred.
Skills
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of McDonald’s standards and procedures.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
