Shift Manager

Requirements

Shift Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers perform various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, taking corrective actions, ensuring safety and security, communicating with the next Shift Manager, and meeting targets. They may also assist in meeting departmental goals.

• Maintaining inventory and managing daily maintenance and cleanliness

Responsibilities

Shift Managers are responsible for leading and managing teams to deliver a consistent and high-quality customer experience. They are responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the shift are managed effectively, including food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance, and cleanliness. They also play a key role in maintaining the overall operational efficiency and profitability of the restaurant.

Qualifications

A Shift Manager must have previous leadership experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. They should be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to motivate and develop team members.

Skills

Effective time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are crucial. The ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities is important. Leadership qualities, such as the ability to delegate tasks and provide guidance, are highly valued.
