About the role
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience on every visit. They provide leadership to the crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Plan for each shift
- Maintain performance during the shift
- Ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards
- Monitor safety, security, and profitability
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift
- Meet targets during their shifts
- Help assigned Departments meet their goals
- Manage food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance and cleanliness, quality food production, exceptional customer service, and safety and security
- Train the crew
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
- Positive team player with a flexible schedule and passion for the fast-paced McDonald’s environment
- Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned restaurants
