About the Role
Shift Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience every time. They provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers handle various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift. They may also be responsible for meeting targets and supporting their assigned Departments in achieving their goals.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor shifts to ensure efficient operations
- Maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness
- Ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards
- Monitor safety and security
- Communicate effectively with the team and the next Shift Manager
- Meet and support Department goals
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
- Positive team player with a flexible schedule
- Passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment
- Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned and operated restaurants
