About the Role

The Shift Manager assists in restaurant operations as the Manager on Duty, ensuring customer satisfaction, profitability, and adherence to policies. They may perform crew duties when not acting as MOD.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate staff, uphold service standards, and ensure food safety compliance.
• Monitor costs, manage inventory, and document financial transactions.
• Train employees, enforce policies, and handle customer concerns professionally.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and support operational efficiency.
• Perform various duties such as stocking, receiving deliveries, and housekeeping.

Requirements

• High School diploma with 6+ months of restaurant experience.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in restaurant operations, policies, and basic computer skills.
• Food Handler Certification and knowledge of health codes.
• Physical ability to stand, lift, and work in varied environments.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus.
