About the role
At Five Guys, we serve outstanding burgers and fries in clean restaurants with a top-tiered customer service approach. Shift managers are trained to perform all of the duties performed by the Crew Members and Shift Leaders, with additional responsibility for directing the daily operations of a restaurant in the General Manager’s absence. This includes ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation such as product prep and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance, team and inventory management, and other duties as required or assigned.
Pay
$18.50/hour + tips + bonus (Secret Shopper bonus plan). We have 2 Secret Shops each week, and everyone on your team working during those shifts is eligible for bonuses based on the results of those visits.

Schedule
Most locations open at 11:00 am and close at 10:00 pm with no drive-thrus.
Responsibilities
- Direct daily operations of a restaurant in the General Manager’s absence
- Ensure compliance with company standards in product prep and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance, team and inventory management

Requirements
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a food service or retail environment (preferred)
- Honest, energetic, motivational, and fun personality
- Ability to set high standards for yourself and your team
- Passion for creating a positive customer experience
