Shift Maintenance Nights

About the role

The role involves supporting the plant's business plans and objectives, focusing on teamwork, problem-solving, adherence to safety and health policies, and maintaining production quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Participate in team activities and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
• Follow Company policies and display conduct as outlined in the Corporate and Local Handbooks.
• Adhere to safety and health objectives, reporting unsafe conditions and accidents.
• Maintain proper ergonomics and clean work areas.
• Maintain customer quality standards and meet production goals.
• Report to supervisors on the condition of production equipment and assist in repairs and improvements.
• Communicate production information at shift change and assist in updating equipment PM programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage all planned and scheduled maintenance, including PMs and changeovers.
• Complete FSRs for changeovers and PMs, with Day shift responsible for C/O and PMs divided among all shifts.
• Support plant operations for mechanical and electrical issues.
• Drive improvements to production equipment and rebuild required parts.
• Ensure proper operational conditions and maintain production equipment to 87% company standard.
• Review and address issues on visual management boards.
• Implement and improve process control procedures.
• Assist in updating and developing equipment PM programs and communicate equipment conditions to supervisors.
• Train production employees on machine conversions and PMs.
• Assist with contractor repairs and other maintenance tasks.
• Direct and advise production employees during repairs.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper tool storage after repairs and PMs.
